What is a .ppm file?
Portable Pixmap is an image format developed by Jef Poskanzer (Netpbm), first released in 1988. It is usually created by Ray tracers, graphics coursework.
Uncompressed RGB behind a tiny text header — the simplest image format there is, which is why nearly every first ray tracer writes PPM.
