What is a .usd file?
Universal Scene Description is a 3D/CAD format developed by Pixar, first released in 2016. It is usually created by Pixar, NVIDIA Omniverse, Houdini.
Either binary 'crate' or ASCII; the header tells which. USDZ packages it for Apple AR.
