What is a .sf2 file?
SoundFont 2 Instrument Bank is an audio format developed by E-mu Systems / Creative Labs, first released in 1996. It is usually created by Sound Blaster, MIDI synthesizers, FluidSynth.
A RIFF bank of instrument samples and envelopes that a MIDI synthesizer plays from — not a song by itself.
