What is a .pfa file?
PostScript Type 1 Font (ASCII) is a font format developed by Adobe, first released in 1984. It is usually created by Unix font packages, TeX.
The ASCII form of a Type 1 font; the outlines are eexec-encrypted hex. Adobe ended Type 1 support in 2023.
