What is a .idml file?
InDesign Markup Language is a design format developed by Adobe, first released in 2008. It is usually created by Adobe InDesign CS4 and later.
A ZIP of XML spreads, stories and styles. It is how you move a layout to an older InDesign or into Affinity Publisher.
